'Porn for the Ears' Pervert Radio Launches

PORTLAND, Ore. – Pervert Radio, an Internet station that is described as “porn for the ears,” was launched over the Memorial Day weekend.

The Internet-based station is broadcast live out of Portland, Ore., four nights a week, with archive replays all week.

The station is founded by two men who go by the names of Paul and Mike, who host the “Paul & Mike Show.”

“Any idiot can get a girl to talk dirty on the air,” Mike told XBiz. “We talk about serious things – politics, drugs, violence, domestic abuse. And yes, we talk about sex – sometimes very descriptively.”

Tonight the station debuts a program called “Fat Tuesdays,” hosted by Gimpcomic.com’s Lonnie Bruhn and PornClerk.com’s Kristine Levin, both comics.

“Lonnie’s and Kristine’s dark comedy fits the format of our show perfectly,” Mike said.

The founders, who have bandied the idea of starting a web-based station for years, told XBiz that the station is a so-called “pirate radio station with an all-adult format.

“This is talk radio for adults, not a music show or a show where all you hear is girls masturbating,” Mike said. “We provide adult discussions with a lot of adult humor.”

Paul added: “Ironically we are submerged in sex. Sex sells; movies, toothpaste, telephones, cars, even soft drinks to our kids. Hell, they even use sex to sell us fat.”

“When was the last time you saw a fat unattractive person doing a McDonald’s commercial?” he said.
